Salary Range: $55k – $80K


The Role

Edway Labour Hire is continuously looking for general Accountants for our clients and we currently have a number of positions available in NSW and VIC. The ideal candidate is responsible for the day-to-day financial accounting and compliance aspects for the company. This includes coordinating the key functions of accounts payables, processor receivables, merchant payables, fixed asset register, cash flow management, internal controls and parent entity reporting

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and review monthly Financial Reports and accounting journals
  • Assist with external and internal audits
  • Assist in processing employee expenses and salaries
  • General support to the broader accounting team and assist in any ad hoc project initiatives
  • Assistance with project budgeting and forecasting
  • Liaison with internal stakeholders across the broader business
  • Preparation of Tax Returns
  • Support the transactional function of the business
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations as part of the month end close process
  • Year-end audit support
  • Ad Hoc Finance Duties as requested


General Requirements:

  • Years of Experience: 1-2 years of relevant practical professional experience
  • Education: At least a degree level of Education
  • Reporting skills, Attention to detail
  • Deadline oriented, reporting research Results
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel
  • Experience working with various Accountancy software packages
