Salary Range: $70K – $120K


The Role

Edway Labour Hire is continuously looking for Builders for our clients and we currently have several positions available in NSW and VIC. The ideal candidate will be responsible will be responsible for supervising construction sites, and organizing and coordinating the material and human resources required.


Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure projects are being completed to contract guideline
  • Monitoring, scheduling and tracking project progress
  • Planning work activities and quality checks
  • Organize trades and materials to ensure maximum productivity
  • Ensure safety policy and procedures on site
  • Attend and report in monthly construction meetings
  • Supervise construction sites, organizing and coordinating the material
  • Assist Construction Managers, Architects and Surveyors in planning and organization
  • Assist in preparing preliminary sketches, working drawings and specifications
  • Inspect work and materials for compliance with specifications, regulations and standards
  • Calculate costs and estimating time scales
  • Collect data using surveying instruments and photogrammetric equipment
  • Performing routine computations and plotting preliminary data
  • Develop, monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, and milestones

General Requirements:

  • Years of Experience: 2-3 years of relevant practical professional experience
  • Education: At least a degree level of qualification
  • OH&S and Q/A guidelines and regulations
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and deadline
  • Strong customer interface and presentation skills, with a customer focus attitude
