The Role
Edway Labour Hire is continuously looking for Recruitment Consultants for our clients and we currently have several positions available in NSW and VIC. As Recruitment Consultants, you will attract candidates by drafting advertising copy for use in a range of media, as well as by networking, headhunting and through referrals. You will also screen candidates, interview them, do background checks and finally match them to their clients.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Use sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies;
- Consult hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs;
- Visit clients to build and develop relationships;
- Develop a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do, plus their work culture and environment;
- Advertise vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a range of media, for example newspapers, websites, magazines;
- Use social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and employers;
- Receive and review applications, manage interviews and tests and create a shortlist of candidates for the client
- Request reference and check the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client
- Organize interviews for candidates as requested by the client
- Inform candidates about the results of their interviews
General Requirements:
- Years of Experience: 1-2 years of relevant practical professional experience
- Education: At least a degree level of qualification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Sales and negotiation skills
- A goal-orientated approach to work
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
