The Role
Edway Labour Hire is continuously looking for Automotive Electricians for our clients and we currently have several positions available in NSW and VIC. The ideal candidate will be responsible to diagnose and solve auto electrical problems, install auto electrical accessories including solar panels, duel battery systems, driving lights, reverse cameras, alternators and starter motors
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Provide remedial maintenance of customer equipment
- Apply specialized technical knowledge to problem solve difficult or complex situations
- Perform varied technical duties involving the use of a wide range of alternate procedures
- Operate diagnostic systems to debug and isolate complex faults to component level
- Resolve more complex/critical failure situations
- Report to supervisors or other responsible personnel any potential non-conformance or problems
- Maintain service records or reports in accordance with Company procedures
- Resolve verbal and written customer technical enquiries
- Maximize productive output by efficient use of time and materials
General Requirements:
- Years of Experience: 2-3 years of relevant practical professional experience
- Education: At least a certificate level of Education
- Demonstrated electronic servicing skills to component level
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
- Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
